All talk about a possible move to Bayern Munich of Germany by Galatasaray of Turkey striker, Victor James Osimhen might be way off the mark, as a leading football analyst has tagged it ‘quite unlikely.’
Sports247 gathered that, in contrast with a flood of reports that spread through the online media on Tuesday, regarding a link for Osimhen at Munich, highly-respected writer, Dean Jones believes it will not happen.

Jones started by acknowledging Osimhen’s impact at Galatasaray, before which the 2023 African Footballer of The Year ealier dazzled with Racing Charleroi of Belgium, Lille Metropole of France and SSC Napoli of Italy.
He further admitted that Osinhen has what it takes to shine at Munich, considering his amazing goals scoring pedigree, which has attracted top clubs across Europe – like Juventus of Italy, Paris-Saint Germain of France and Chelsea of England.
However, Jones stated in his article on Tribal Football, “Talk of Victor Osimhen emerging as a summer target for Bayern Munich has intensified in recent days, but the substance behind the rumour remains open to question.
“Fresh reports have claimed Bayern boss Vincent Kompany is an admirer of Osimhen and that there are considerations internally about potentially moving on from 32-year-old Harry Kane to facilitate a change in profile up front.
“However, well-placed sources remain sceptical that Bayern are actively looking to part ways with Kane. There is a strong belief that suggestions the German champions want to move on from the England captain are wide of the mark.
“That is not to say Osimhen would not interest Bayern if circumstances shifted, but the priority is to extend Kane’s stay, with talks understood to have already begun. Kane is open to remaining and Bayern are keen to secure his long-term future.”
