Lille’s leading campaign goal scorer, Victor Osimhen has shown his deep grief over the COVID-19 pandemic across the world which has put an hold to every sport activities.
Osimhen in his Twitter post prayed that ” This too shall and pass and God will prevail” with so many lives lost notably in Italy.
Less than 6 months ago, WHO and FIFA signed an agreement to work together to promote health through football little did they know that a new virus would emerge that would bring many parts of society to a standstill – including the beautiful game.
In bid to cure this epidermic, governing football body, FIFA has donated US$10 million to the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.
