Osimhen Showers Praise On Galatasaray’s Coach, Tags Him Best In Turkey

Galatasaray of Turkey striker, Victor Osimhen has turned the focus on his coach, Okan Buruk, whom the Super Eagles’ star showered a torrent of accolades on and tagged him best of all gaffers in the Ottoman country.

Sports247 gathered that Osimhen felt all praise for another glorious season by Gala in the Turkish Super Lig should not be on him alone, and the Nigerian hitman cited Buruk’s technical savvy among many factors that make him outstanding.

The former Ultimate Strikers of Lagos, VfL Wolfsburg of Germany, Racing Charleroi of Belgium and Lille Metropole of France ace went on to declare emphatically that Buruk deserves all the praise that is coming his way.

Osimhen eulogised his gaffer at length, saying: “He’s a great man. Apart from being a great coach, he’s also an amazing person and one of the best human beings whom I have ever come in contact with.

“Aside from football, in terms of humanity, he’s there; and I’m really happy for him. He deserves every accolade that he’s getting.”

Osimhen also revealed that other players in The Rams’ squad share the same view that he holds regarding their coach, hence the determination of everyone in the Istanbul-based outfit to win matches that would showcase their tactician’s quality.

The 2023 African Footballer of The Year added: “We, the players, are ready to give our all for him so that he can continue to achieve greatness. For me, I believe he’s the best coach in Turkey, and he’s also been doing excellently well in Europe, which is very good for us as a team.”

Osimhen concluded by reiterating that he is eager to keep doing his best to make Buruk succeed, and the in-form striker affirmed: “I’m really very happy for him, and we are all ready to make sure that he continues to achieve greatness.”
