The Benin-based athlete clocked 52.25 seconds to secure victory, finishing as the fastest overall across the finals. Salami maintained strong rhythm between the barriers and showed impressive endurance down the home straight, holding off a determined challenge from experienced hurdler Sadiq Adebisi, who placed second in his race.

Meanwhile, Daniel Ovie Possible also impressed at the meet, recording the second-fastest overall time of 53.01 seconds after winning his final. His performance further underlined the competitive depth in Nigeria’s men’s 400m hurdles field.
