“My dream is to reach the Premier League with Birmingham City,” Osayi-Samuel said.
The defender noted that while he has already achieved several milestones in his career, there are still important goals he wants to accomplish both at club and international level.
“There are still things I want to achieve in my career,” he added.
Beyond his club ambitions, Osayi-Samuel also revealed that winning the Africa Cup of Nations with the Nigeria national football team remains a major personal objective.
“I want to win the AFCON with Nigeria,” he stated.
The defender recalled that he has already experienced different emotions in the continental tournament, having won both a silver and a bronze medal during previous appearances with the national team.
“I already have a silver medal and a bronze medal,” he explained.
According to Osayi-Samuel, the only medal missing from his AFCON collection is the gold medal, which represents the championship title.
“The only one missing now is the gold medal,” he noted.
The versatile defender believes that with the current crop of talented players in the Super Eagles squad, the team has the potential to compete strongly for the continental title in the coming years.
“We have a very strong team and we can achieve great things,” he said.
Osayi-Samuel concluded by reiterating his determination to continue improving and helping both club and country achieve success.
“I will keep working hard to achieve these goals,” he added.
