Osas Hatrick Hands KG Sports Win Over Ekuku Agbor United

A hatrick from Aimiyekagbon osarumwense earned KG Sports a 4-1 mauling of Ekuku Agbor in the AFCADU Champions League Match

The week 2 encounter was the first match of the Coach Adeyinka’s Pride of Agbor while Ekuku Agbor were looking to bounce back from their week 1 lose to Big Daddy FC.
16 year old Jude Igumbor put the Academy boys ahead in the 15th minute before Osas doubled the lead in the 35th minute for KG Sports to go into the break leading 2-0. The Youthful KG Sports boys took the game beyond the Ekuku Agbor boys when Osas scored his second of the day to make it 3-0 two minutes after the restart.

Ekuku Agbor pulled one back which was more like a consolation goal after the referee awarded them a penalty in the 52nd minute. Osas completed the rout in the 85th minute from the penalty spot to make it 4-1.

Godspower was outstanding with 2 assist and the return of Kessington Otuya to the KG rejuvenated side add spark to the KG Sports midfield as the lads entertained the fans with their mesmerising display.

“I am delighted and excited to score the goals today for the team but the team still need to improve more and hopefully as the league progresses we will do better” Aimiyekagbon Osarumwense said moments after the match.

“I am happy for the win, the boys played to instructions and we had two clean goals disallowed by the Center Referee, we totally dominated the match and the result is well deserved” Coach Adeyinka Ogundeji said. “It’s still early days and a lot to play for so we need to return to training and prepare for the next one” he added.
