Badminton Federation of Nigeria (BFN), Francis Orbih has revealed that plans are on ground to begin a national league for the raquet sport.
Orbih told sports247.ng that the National Badminton League will begin either next year or in 2020.
Orbih said he believes the league will become feasible, hence the federation’s efforts to ensure they get a smooth take off for the project.
“We want to plan it well, in order to ensure we have a remarkable league for badminton in Nigeria.
“As such, arrangements are on the pipeline in getting proper structures and foundations in place, to ensure our aspirations are well executed.”
