Orban saw red in what was widely described as an early and controversial decision during Verona’s 2–1 loss to Parma, ruling him out of the upcoming fixture as part of a suspension.
Hellas Verona had briefly found hope in that match when Abdelhamid Harroui converted from the penalty spot to cancel out Parma’s opener.
However, the hosts were unable to hold on, as Mateo Pellegrino struck a dramatic late winner to seal all three points for Parma.
Orban’s absence will be a significant blow for Verona as they prepare for a difficult away test against Sassuolo, with the coaching staff now forced to reshuffle their attacking options ahead of the crucial Serie A encounter.
Verona will be hoping to respond positively after last weekend’s setback as they look to pick up valuable points on the road.
