Head Coach of MS Success Football Club of Mushin, Musbau Oseni has expressed delight that the open football trials which took place last weekend was a huge success.
The one-day open football trials took place on Saturday at Eko Boys High School, Mushin which witnessed more than a hundred young players across the age bracket.
Osen in a chat with our correspondent said the trial was well attended noted that some players have been successfully selected to join the club in few days to come. He explained that many players who attended the trials played well but only a few players were considered to fully join the club in various categories.
“The coaching crew has selected good 22 players from various categories and we are happy with their response and performance at the trials.
“In our U-17 and free age bracket, we only picked nine good players and one exceptional goalie to fortify our team in preparation for future high profile football competitions,” he said.
Oseni, however, thanked the parents, guardians who came with their wards to trials promised that the club would continue to bring different programmes that would make the players better in their future endeavours.
