Onyekuru ready to help Galatasaray beat Besiktas

Galatasaray forward Henry Onyekuru believes his side has the advantage going into Sunday’s Istanbul derby at home against Besiktas.

The reigning champions will successfully defend their title if they win all their remaining league matches.

Though the club has won just one of the 15 derbies played recently, Onyekuru is depending on the fans support to record a decisive win in their title race.

“With the support of our fans, we want to give 100 percent and win the game. We have four games ahead that we should win and my biggest aim is to win the title,” Onyekuru who has scored 14 goals for Galatasaray this season said.

The Nigerian is expected to play a huge part as Galatasaray fight tooth and nail to defend their 34-game undefeated streak at home as the title race reaches the final stretch.

Basaksehir currently top the table with 63 points from 31 games, followed by Galatasaray with 60 points in 30 games and Besiktas occupy third spot with 59 points.
