Nigerian forward Onumarah Emeka has completed a transfer from Jezeera FC to Somali champions Mogadishu City Club (FC MCC) and is set to make his debut in the upcoming CAF Champions League preliminary round.
Emeka enjoyed a standout season at Jezeera FC, earning praise for his goal-scoring consistency and attacking presence, which attracted interest from league winners FC MCC.

The 22-year-old’s move comes as FC MCC prepares to represent Somalia in Africa’s premier club competition after clinching the 2024/25 Somali Premier League title earlier this month.
Onumarah Emeka is expected to lead the line for MCC as they aim to progress beyond the early rounds of the CAF Champions League, with qualifiers scheduled to begin in late August 2025.
