Onuachu Wins Turkish Super Lig Goal of the Month Award Again

Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu has once again been honoured in Turkey, clinching the Turkish Super Lig Goal of the Month award for September following his spectacular strike for Trabzonspor.

The in-form Nigerian forward, who made his loan move from Southampton permanent during the summer, has been in sensational form for the Black Sea Storm.

In just ten appearances this season, Onuachu has registered seven goals and one assist, cementing his place as one of the league’s standout performers.

Trabzonspor’s Vice President, Taner Fikret Saral, presented the award to Onuachu ahead of the club’s clash with Eyupspor on Saturday.

The winning goal, scored against Fatih Karagümrük, was a moment of sheer brilliance as the towering forward produced a stunning scissor-kick finish that left fans and pundits alike in awe.

The strike has now been officially recognised as the best goal in the Turkish top flight for September.

This marks the second consecutive month Onuachu has claimed the prestigious award, having also won the August edition for his beautiful finish against Samsunspor.

With his current tally of seven goals, Onuachu leads the Super Lig’s goalscoring chart, holding a slim advantage over rivals Rafa Silva, Felipe Augusto, and Mauro Icardi, who each have five goals.

As he continues his blistering form, Onuachu remains a key figure in Trabzonspor’s push for the league title and looks set to further strengthen his reputation as one of Africa’s most prolific strikers in Europe.
