The hosts took the lead in the 43rd minute through Sander van de Streek, who finished clinically to reward Antalyaspor’s positive approach in the first half.
Trabzonspor responded after the break and were handed a lifeline in the 53rd minute when the referee pointed to the spot.
Onuachu stepped up confidently and converted the penalty to restore parity, registering another important contribution for the Black Sea Storm.
Trabzonspor pushed for a winner as the game opened up, creating several promising moments in the final third.
Their best chance to complete the comeback arrived in the 81st minute when they were awarded a second penalty.
Once again, Onuachu assumed responsibility, but this time his effort was well saved by the Antalyaspor goalkeeper, denying the Nigerian striker a brace and Trabzonspor a crucial away victory.
Despite the missed opportunity, Onuachu’s overall performance reflected his growing influence since returning to the starting line-up, as he led the attack with physical presence and intelligent movement.
Trabzonspor, however, will view the result as a missed chance, having had the clearest openings to secure all three points.
