Super Falcons coach Justin Madugu has stated that the team will approach their upcoming WAFCON quarter-final against Zambia with a focused, game-by-game mentality.
Madugu made eight changes in the 0-0 draw with Algeria, clearly prioritizing fitness and freshness for the tougher tests ahead. Despite the lack of goals in Casablanca, he remains optimistic about his team’s chances. “We have our strategy. We’re taking every game one at a time,” Madugu said.

Algeria and Botswana both employed deep defensive blocks to frustrate the Falcons’ attack, but Madugu remains confident. “We’re not bothered about the individuals in the other teams. We have our antidote,” he insisted.
