The media in Poland is agog with rave reviews for 21-year-old Nigerian defensive midfielder, Omoniyi Olajide, after he ended the season in strong form with Proch Pionki.
Sports247 gathered that Olajide’s name appeared in many of Poland’s top online and mainstream media publications, with highlights depicting his many exploits in the seasom.

Many headlines also captured his achievements with different graphic presentations to recount his successful efforts all through the 2025/26 season with Proch Pionki FC.
Various photographs were splashed to illustrate how the product of Idowu Boys Youth Club in Orile-Iganmu area of Lagos delivered very consistent performances on a weekly basis throughout the recent campaign.
One of the reports added in part, “Olajide featured in 13 of the club’s 15 league matches, accumulating 649 minutes of playing time. Despite operating primarily as a defensive midfielder, he also contributed offensively by scoring two goals.
“He showed his ability to impact both ends of the pitch. His performances throughout the season demonstrated his work rate, discipline and growing influence in midfield while providing a solid foundation to his role in the team.”
