Omeruo Cites Class, Rhythm In Win Over Betis

Leganes of Spain defender, Kenneth Omeruo has pointed to his side’s ability to show a high level of class and rhythm in their 3-0 win against Real Betis.

Sports247.ng can report that Omeruo was excited that his side also got another clean sheet, as they recorded their third straight win in La Liga.

The dark-skinned stopper, who is on loan from Chelsea of England, added that he was equally happy to see his side show what they are worth in Saturday’s game.

Although he ended up getting a third yellow in the season, which might rule him out of Leganes’ next game, Omeruo says he hopes his side can replicate their recent feat of going ten matches without defeat.

Omeruo added with glee: “It was a convincing victory and we kept another clean sheet. This is a third straight match we have not lost.

“We showed class, we proved our worth, we are gradually getting the rhythm expected of us.

“Not forgetting we went as far as 10 matches unbeaten before we lost a game and now it’s three matches on the roll again.”
