Oluehi Promises Vastly Improved Super Falcons

Nigeria’s female national team, Super Falcons’ goalkeeper, Tochukwu Oluehi has promised that the squad will be vastly improved before the y line out for next year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup in France.

Making her thoughts known in a chat with sports247.ng, Oluehi stated that Nigerians can be rest assured that they will see a better Falcons’ team that will represent the nation better at France 2019.

The Rivers Angels of Port Harcourt shot-stopper admitted that the Falcons were not at their best during the African Women Cup of Nations in Ghana, but says sheer determination gave them the trophy.

Oluwhi, though, projected on improvements, after the coach, Thomas Dennerby, sent a sketch plan for preparation of the squad towards the Female Mundial in France.

The Falcons are scheduled to feature in two build-up competitions in China and Cyprus, both of which Oluehi says will help prepare the team and make the players perform better.

Oluehi confessed: “I like the programme that has been outlined for us. It is better than what we had before the Nations Cup in Ghana.

“This time, we will get proper preparations, compared to having the players just come for a rushed camping before going for a tournament.”
