Bayern Munich of Germany’s Nigerian-born dazzler, Michael Olise has found his name placed on the summer transfer cards at Liverpool of England, with a heavy hint that he could replace Mohammed Salah this summer.

Sports247 reports that, while Olise is still highly rated in Munich, where he continues twinkling bright since his arrival from Crystal Palace of England, the French international could be tempted by an offer from Liverpool.
This comes at a point in which Olise has become a key part of Bayern’s fearsome attack alongside Harry Kane, Jamal Musiala and Luis Diaz; hence The Bavarians’ strong desire to keep him for much longer.
The 24-year-old dazzler has also notched 13 goals and 25 assists in 35 games, top marks that have caught the attention of Liverpool and Manchester City, but his current contract runs until June 2029.
Incidentally, at the peak of his days at Crystal Palace, Manchester United, Chelsea and Newcastle United were all interested in signing Olise, but Bayern won the race in July 2024 with a €60m (£50m) deal.
That came after Olise registered 16 goals and 25 assists in 90 appearances during three years with Palace, thereby making a name for himself as one of the English Premier League’s most exciting players.
Those memories have now raised speculation that Olise could be eager for a return to Queensland, especially if he gets a lucrative offer from Anfield, which has been corroborated by a journalist based in Liverpool.
David Lynch told Anfield Index, “I see Olise getting mentioned in the comments as well, and I think I’d keep an eye on that. That’s an interesting one. Particularly Bayern being interested in Gakpo.
“Potentially maybe something in that, but he will want to come back to the Premier League at some point, and he’s a very, very good player who Liverpool have watched for a long, long time, even pre-Palace.”
