Ibrahim Olawoyin and Adedire Awokoya Mebude delivered strong performances as Çaykur Rizespor claimed a comfortable 2–0 home victory over Kocaelispor in the Turkish Süper Lig.

Rizespor made a bright start to the encounter and were rewarded in the 13th minute. Mebude turned provider, setting up Valentin Mihăilă, who finished clinically to hand the hosts an early advantage.
The home side maintained control throughout the contest, with Olawoyin influential in midfield, helping to dictate tempo and support both defensive and attacking transitions.
Rizespor doubled their lead later in the game when Qazim Laçi provided the assist for Samet Akaydın, who made no mistake to seal the 2–0 victory and ensure all three points remained at home.
The result strengthens Rizespor’s position in the league standings, while the performances of Olawoyin and Mebude will be a source of encouragement as the season progresses.
