Okpotu To Miss Five Months’ Action In Morocco

Former Lobi Stars of Makurdi striker, Anthony Okpotu is set to miss five months of action with his Moroccan club, Difaa El-Jadidi, after he ruptured his Achilles tendon during action with the team, sports247.ng gathered.

Okpotu joined El Jadidi in July, despite being linked with several clubs in Europe and North Africa, but he is now sidelined after playing some matches for the Moroccan club in the CAF Champions League.

A credible source disclosed: “Okpotu is out for several months after he ruptured his Achilles tendon in training with his club in Morocco. The good news is that he will not need surgery after he visited a specialist. He has already begun his treatment.”
