Okoye was assured between the posts, organizing his defence effectively and making key interventions when called upon to ensure Udinese maintained their advantage throughout the contest.

Fellow Nigerian Kingsley Ehizibue also featured, contributing defensively in a disciplined team performance on the road.

After a tightly contested first half, Udinese found the breakthrough in the 66th minute when Jurgen Ekkelenkamp calmly finished from an assist by Nicolò Zaniolo, giving the visitors a deserved lead.

Genoa pushed forward in search of an equaliser, but Udinese remained compact and dangerous on the counter. Their resilience paid off deep into stoppage time, as Keinan Davis sealed the victory with a well-taken goal in the 90+6th minute.

The win lifts Udinese to 39 points after Matchday 30, consolidating their position in midtable and providing a platform to build on as the season enters its final stretch.

For Okoye, it marks another confidence-boosting display, reinforcing his growing importance to the team as they continue to aim for a strong finish in the Italian top flight.
