Chelsea struck first in the 24th minute when Cole Palmer provided the assist for João Pedro, who produced an exquisite left-footed lob to beat Karl Darlow and give the hosts an early advantage.

The Blues looked in control for long spells, but Leeds grew into the contest with improved intensity and belief.

The game swung dramatically after the break. In the 58th minute, Leeds defender Jaka Bijol conceded a penalty after pushing João Pedro in the box. Palmer made no mistake from the spot, calmly converting past Darlow to restore Chelsea’s lead.

Leeds responded with character. Their comeback began in the 67th minute when Moisés Caicedo conceded a penalty for tripping Jayden Bogle.

Lukas Nmecha stepped up and confidently dispatched the spot-kick with his right foot, sending Robert Sánchez the wrong way to level the scores.

Momentum shifted firmly in Leeds’ favour, and six minutes later they struck again. Noah Okafor reacted quickest inside the area to tap home with his left foot following a dangerous delivery.

After a brief VAR review, the referee confirmed the goal, sending the Leeds bench into celebration.

Chelsea pressed late for a winner, but Leeds held firm to secure a valuable point away from home, with Okafor and Nmecha underlining their growing influence in Daniel Farke’s side.
