Ohaa: NSF will bring tourism and economic development to Abuja

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Permanent Secretary Ohaa Chinyeaka Christian says hosting the National Sports Festival in the nation’s capital next month will bring tourism and economic development to Abuja.

Speaking in Abuja, Ohaa said that the FCT administration is poised to make sure that the event is a success.

“National Sports Festival is a multi sports event that brings different kinds of people together. It usually showcase the culture, tradition, sportsmanship and infrastructure that a nation possess,” Ohaa Chinyeaka Christian remarked to Sports247.ng in an interview.

“The FCT and Ministry of Sports are ready to host a befitting event, that will be the talk of the town for years to come. All the modalities, structures and logistics have been well taken care of. We are poised for a hitch free competition that will make the nation proud.”

“Tourism and Economic Development will add glamour to the National Sports Festival. People from the 36 states in Nigeria will converge and mingle with one another. They will show the spirit of brotherhood and oneness.”

The 19th National Sports Festival will get underway on 6th December 2018 in Abuja, reports Sports247.ng.
