Ogunoya Urges AFN To Start 2019 Preparations

Former international quarter-mile athlete and Olympic medalist, Chief Falilat Ogunkoya has admonished the Athletic Federation of Nigeria to quickly start their programmes for 2019.

 

 

Ogunkoya stressed in an interview with sports247.ng that the AFN should start adequate planning for next year if they want to succeed.

She pointed out that the All Africa Games will hold next year and other top events will take place across the world, hence her charge for the track and fiedl body to start making early plans.

Ogunkoya opined: “The officials have to start making their plans now, because the year is already coming to an end.

“Next year will be very busy for them and the athletes, with the All Africa Games and other important athletics meets on the calendar.
“That is why we cannot afford to waste any time at all. This the time to start putting things in order for these challenges coming up.”
