Remo Stars Ladies forward, Subomi Ogundele, has set her sights on building on last season’s breakthrough campaign as the new Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) season gets underway.
Ogundele, who emerged as one of the standout performers for the club last term, said she is determined to improve her output in goals and assists while helping her team push for trophies.

“Last season was a big one for me, but I know I can do even better,” Ogundele said. “This year, my goal is to score more, create more for my teammates, and help Remo Stars Ladies go further than we did before.”
The youngster acknowledged the support she has received from fans and promised to repay their faith with even greater commitment. “Our supporters have been incredible,” she noted. “They gave us energy last season, and I want to assure them that I will play with more hunger, more passion, and more dedication this season.”
Ogundele explained that her personal targets align with the team’s ambitions. “It’s not just about me; it’s about the whole team,” she said. “We want to challenge for trophies, and we believe we have what it takes. If we work hard and stay together, we can achieve something special.”
The forward also underlined her desire to keep developing her game. “Every day in training, I am learning and pushing myself. I want to be more consistent, improve my decision-making, and be someone my teammates can always rely on,” she added.
She concluded with optimism about the upcoming campaign. “This season is a new chapter for us. I am excited and ready to give my best for the badge and the fans. We want to make Remo Stars Ladies proud,” Ogundele said
