Adesokan, a former Africa number one, was instrumental in the win. Her experience, composure, and leadership on the court were key to Ogun’s comeback in the tense match against a determined Lagos team.

Speaking after the game, Adesokan praised the strength of the opposition and the unity within her team.
“It was a very tough match, but I’m proud of how my teammates stood their ground and kept pushing,” she said.

Now through to the final, Team Ogun will face defending champions Edo State. With Adesokan leading the charge, the team will be looking to secure gold and make a statement against the tournament favourites.
