OGUN FA: Arrangements In Top Gear For 2021 Pre Season Tournament

The Ogun State Football Association has concluded plans to stage a pre-season tournament which will have League teams in the Gateway state and environs in attendance, to put them in shape for 2021/2022 Nigeria Football League season.

At a board meeting held in September in Abeokuta, it was confirmed that the tournament will take place later in the year in Abeokuta.

Chairman of Ogun State Football Association, Alhaji Ganiyu Majekodunmi confirmed that modalities will be unveiled as soon as other plans are perfected.

For a successful tournament, the Vice Chairman of the state FA, Alhaji Nojimu Lasisi will chair an eleven-man committee to map out strategic plans for the tournament to be successful.

Dr. Bayo Oluwatoki will serve as the vice-chairman of the committee, while the owner of the newly promoted Nigeria National League side, Ijebu United, Mr. Tunde Olisa is a member.

Others are a seasoned administrator and President of Abeokuta Stormers sports Club, Mr. Tony Rafua, retired referee Alhaji F A Yusuf, Chairman of Ogun State Referee’s council, Mr. Bosun Obayomi, Mr. Yinka Ajayi, and Mr. Bankole.

Mr. John Adeleke will serve as the secretary, while Mr. Bayo Adegboyega will work as the Media Officer for the event.
