Team Ogun delivered a dominant performance in the darts event at the Gateway Games 2025, which concluded on Friday at the Abeokuta Sports Club. Leading the charge was Ololade Adeyemi, who emerged as the star of the tournament with a remarkable haul of five gold medals, one silver, and one bronze, participating in a total of seven events.

Ololade Adeyemi gold medal victories came in the TDB Ladies Single, 501 Ladies Single, 701 Ladies Single, 201 Ladies Single, and 300 Ladies Single categories, confirming her status as one of the top female dart players in the competition.
In the men’s category, David Osudare secured gold in the 201 Men’s Single event, while Adegbola Jide claimed the top prize in the 300 Men’s Single event, rounding off Team Ogun’s seven gold medal wins.
Ololade Adeyemi also teamed up with Toluwanimi Odedola to win silver in the 701 Ladies Doubles, adding to her impressive medal tally.
The bronze medals for Team Ogun were won by Ololade Adeyemi in the 301 Ladies Single, Damilola Akinsola in the 201 Ladies Single, and the duo of Williams Oluseyi and Lawal Kayode in the 701 Men’s Doubles.
Emerging as the overall champions in the darts event, further solidifying their place as one of the contenders and not just the host of the Gateway Games.
