Ogbomoso United Returned Home For Short Break, Received Cash Gifts

After a week of football at the 3rd tier of Nigeria Football, the Wolekanle boys returned home with a resounding welcome in the hand of the club Chairman Hon Akinwole Solomon Akinwale Wolekanle few hours after defeating 2 times Oyo State FA Cup Champion Ilaji FC in the match day four of the Nigeria Nationwide league one at the Ibadan center.

The club Chairman Hon Wolekanle, Alongside Friends and political associates including former House of Representative member Hon Capt Jacob Adejumo Ajao, Hon Adijat Oritoke Rainbow Ogbomoso central LCDA chairperson, Hon Mufutau Surulere North LCDA Chairman, staff of AA Luxury Hotel and Suites and renowned DJ Shogress.

The Club Chairman in a dancing mood with the boys appreciated the boys for their dogginess and bouncing back after their opening match defeat to Oyomesi FC, he encouraged the boys to be more focused and get ready for their last 3 games in a bid to sneak the only playoff ticket in Ibadan zone.

The chairman also appreciated the Coaching Crew led by Coach Jimoh Tunde Yekeen and Jimoh Adura he appreciates them for giving him the type of team he wanted, he charges them not to relent as it is not yet over, the give a big kudos to the management of the club led by Shittu Adegoke Ismael Ismo for their determination to perform well this season. He tasked them to go all the way and make Ogbomoso proud.

In his remark Capt Jacob Adejumo Ajao appreciates the boys and management for a well done job, he pledges to partner with Hon Wolekanle to make Ogbomoso United the best, he said before the end of the year he will work with the club Chairman to get one or two players out of Nigeria with his international connection.

Capt Jacob in a dancing mood gave the team a sum of 50,000 and promised to watch them play in Ibadan in one of their remaining 3 matches alongside the club Chairman.
The club Chairman also gifted the team a sum of 100,000 and promised to throw a big party as soon as the League is over.

Alhaja Rainbow encouraged the team to go all the way out and do beyond expectations.
The club secretary and media officer Stephen Adetunji on behalf of the team appreciated the chairman and other dignitaries at the mini welcome party for their love, support and believe in the team, he promised that the team will go all the way out in their remaining 3 games and bring the play off ticket home.
