Ofoedu Wishes Eagles Well Against Seychelles, Egypt

Maccabi Tel Aviv of Israel attacker, Chikeluba Ofoedu has admitted he is disappointed not being in the latest list of Super Eagles’ invitees, but is wishing the team well in this month’s matches against Seychelles and Egypt, sports247.ng reports.

 

Although the former Rangers International of Enugu star admitted he would have loved to be part of he action on March 22 and 26 at Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba, he consoled himself in the belief that his time will soon come to make hay for the nation.

The 26-year-old lad, who was Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) revelation in the season of 2011/2012, believes his current form in Israel deserves a look in by Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr.

However, the attacker, who moved to Trabzonspor of Turkey in 2012 and later went on to play for Karşıyaka, Samsunspor and Eskişehirspor, says he will patiently wait for his time to shine in green-and-white.

 

Ofoedu stated: “I didn’t get the National team invite but I wish Super Eagles good luck in the coming games against Seychelles and Egypt.
“With so many talents at the disposal of the Coach, certainly everyone can’t be invited at same time. There’s always next time and I will keep doing my best.”
