Manchester United loanee Odion Ighalo has cleared the air at last on which way he will be heading to after his loan deal ends with Manchester United. The former Super Eagle’s striker has said this because of information emanating from different quoters, Sports247 reports.
There have been claims earlier that the Chinese based club, Shanghai Greenland Shenhua has tabled a mouth-watering offer for the former Watford player to return to China after Ighalo’s stay and Manchester United are putting down a far less lucrative deal.
In an interview with ElegbeteTv, Ighalo has said that he has nothing to say about where he will be spending next season because the season and his loan deal have not ended. “There is no offer, the season is still on and I have not finished my loan deal.”
When asked if he will stay at Manchester United should there be an offer or even a lesser offer and the striker still insisted he had no idea of that will happen “I don’t just take decisions alone in my life. I have principles and guidelines. I have seen so many tweets and messages like – go back to China, -stay at Manchester United, I have not said a word. like I have said, I don’t have anything to say.”
“When the season finishes, and I get offers from the two teams, I will think about it, pray about it to know what to do. I don’t just sit and take decisions. I don’t get carried away by what people say. Anything can still happen. I want the season and my loan deal finished. Any other team apart from Manchester United and Shanghai can come with an offer. I have to sit with my agent and see what is on the ground then we pick.” Ighalo concluded.
Ighalo has been I’m fine form in the red side of Manchester scoring four goals in eight appearances for the red devils.
