Obawole United Youth Forum President Balogun Adewale has laid bare the organizations plans to host youth football tournaments in the Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government Area of Lagos state.
In an interview with Sports247, Adewale explained how organizing grassroots tournament will bring development to the locality.
“In the years to come we are expecting to do more in terms of organizing football competitions,” disclosed Adewale.
“Obawole is part of Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government and I believe this is a welcome development and we should key into this so that we can bring development to Obawole and Ifako-Ijaiye at large.
In retrospect, Adewale is convinced of the football talents scattered in the Ifako-Ijaiye area. He continued:
“We have our record, we have already showed a lot of talents in times past.
“We saw a lot of talents in the first competition that was held at Kefam. The problem is that we don’t have the avenue, we didn’t have the time to showcase them.
“Now, we believe we are going to show more of our talents to you guys to know that Obawole Ifako-Ijaiye have a lot of talents in terms of football.”
