NWPL: DREAM STARS LADIES HOST IJAMIDO QUEENS

The newly promoted Nigeria Women Premier League side, Dream Stars Ladies will play host to Ijamido Queens in another preseason friendly ahead of the NWPL 2018/2019 season.

sports247.ng gathers that the much anticipated match is a first encounter between the two sides as the Pride of Lagos sets to experiment some new tactics against the Ogun based Ijamido Queens.
According to Abolore, Ijamido Queens will be heading into the game without their star player Bankole Sofiyat Olobe who joined Dream Stars Ladies ahead of the new NWPL season.
The attacking midfielder, who was the captain of Team Ogun to National Sports Festival playoffs is one of the prospects of the 2019 All Stars held in Lagos.
Dream Stars Ladies under the new Coach, Nwosu Felix played two games with a win and a draw against JoJo Queens and Lakeside Queens respectively.
The test of Ijamido is another opportunity for the Anambra born Coach to perfect his tactical and technical options going into the league as both teams will use the match to solidify on existing relationships between the two clubs.
With the State FA cup around the corner, Dream Stars Ladies must ensure perfection as the whole Lagos will bank on their participation alongside the popular FC Robo Queens to Lagos State a good representation.
