NWFL Week 8: Edo Queens Must Fight Hard To Return Top-Shaibu

Edo State Deputy Governor Rt.Hon.Comrade Philip Shaibu has charged Edo Queens players to intensify their efforts as they renew rivalry with Delta Queens FC tomorrow in week 8 of the ongoing NWFL premiership.

Addressing the players in Camp the digital Sports loving Deputy Governor said it would be a thrill to see Edo Queens return to the top of the NWFL table.

He advised the players to be aggressive in their play particularly when attacking the opponent’s goalmouth. He maintained that the beauty of the game is goal scoring, adding that the State government has done so much for the team, that the only way to reciprocate is for the team to keep winning in that way the government will be motivated to do more.

“Girls you are all doing very well, I commend your collective and individual efforts, but I want you all to intensity your efforts, I will be more thrilled if we can be scoring goals in all our matches because a number of goals scored at the end of the league will go along way in determining who wins what. So I need you girls to have this at the back of your minds.

Remember too that our target is playing at the Continental level and we must all work hard to achieve it.”
