Castmog Ladies FC has refuted claims suggesting the club has been relegated from the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL), reaffirming its active status ahead of the 2025/2026 season.
In an official statement released by the management, the club addressed concerns raised after the NWFL issued a press release regarding Castmog Ladies’ late registration and licensing for the new campaign.

The club assured fans, partners, and the general public that it remains a full participant in the league.
“We acknowledge the concerns raised and wish to affirm that all outstanding requirements are currently being addressed with utmost urgency,” the club stated. “Our management is working diligently to ensure every aspect of the registration and licensing process is completed in full compliance with NWFL guidelines.”
Castmog Ladies FC reiterated its commitment to the forthcoming season, emphasizing its readiness to compete once the administrative process is finalized.
