The curtain has officially fallen on the regular season of the NWFL Premiership, with Matchday 18 delivering dramatic results, late goals, and decisive outcomes across various centres.
In Lagos, FC Robo Queens rounded off an impressive campaign with a 2-1 victory over Nasarawa Amazons. Goals from Opeyemi Ajakaye and Oluwakemi Adegbuyi secured the win before Ayatsea Hembafan pulled one back for the visitors.

At Ikenne, Dannaz Ladies edged Remo Stars Ladies 3-2 in an entertaining encounter, while Edo Queens defeated Rivers Angels 2-1 in Benin City to strengthen their momentum heading into the playoffs.
Delta Queens produced a dominant 3-0 victory over Osun Babes in Asaba, while Ahudiyannem Queens stunned Abia Angels with a narrow 1-0 away win in Aba.
Elsewhere, Ekiti Queens claimed a notable 1-0 victory over league leaders Bayelsa Queens, courtesy of an early strike from Joke Adeyemo. Sunshine Queens also ended their season positively with a 2-0 win over Confluence Queens.
With the regular season concluded, the Super Six lineup is now officially confirmed. From Group A, Bayelsa Queens, Edo Queens, and Rivers Angels secured qualification, while FC Robo Queens, Nasarawa Amazons, and Abia Angels advanced from Group B.
The relegation picture has also been settled. Pacesetter Queens and Naija Ratels dropped from Group A, while Sunshine Queens, Osun Babes, and Confluence Queens were relegated from Group B.
Attention now shifts to the Super Six, where Nigeria’s top sides will battle for the league title and continental qualification spots.
