NWFL Players Showcase Their Off-The-Pitch Talents On Social Media With A Group Dance Challenge

Nigeria Women Premiership players are making the most of time with #StayAtHome Group Dance Challenge as COVID-19 has practically sent them into house-arrest for an indefinite period and nobody has a clue when this would end.

No doubt, the sporting world on its part is equally affected and the NWFL Premiership is one of those leagues that got a shuddering halt due to this pandemic.

Since the players have a lot of time in their hands they are showcasing their off-the-pitch talents on social media with a dance challenge.

Rivers Angels threw the challenge open, as influential forward Vivian Ikechukwu led the trio of Maryann Ezeanagu, Ibinabo Georgewill and Amawhule Ozinuchi to a well choreographed dance display to DJ Neptune and Joe boy’s hit track ‘Nobody’.

So far, Five NWFL Premiership Clubs and two Non-league sides namely Adamawa Queens, FC Robo Queens, Abia Angels, Confluence Queens, Pelican Stars, Phoenix Queens and Young Talent99 Ladies FC have all keyed into the challenge.

Kid sensation Hembafen Ayatsea led that of Adamawa Queens alongside Ijah Jennifer, Ajarat Suleiman and Mbosowo Emmanuel, while 2019 NWFL Premiership defender of the season Alexandra Florence led Confluence Queens in the #DanceChallenge alongside Martha Peter, Mercy Omokwe and Beninoise import Nando Atanloetou.

Former Sunshine Queens defender Margaret Ademulegun and Cameroonian attacker Stella Mvogo led Abia Angels in their dance challenge alongside Offiong Immaculate and Kalu Hannah.

In the camp of Pelican Stars, Goalkeeper Sekinat Olowu, diminutive attacker Joy Okoronkwo, Marylin Essien, Paul Emmaculate, Okon Love and Lizzy Edwards all gave a wonderful performance to thrill social media followers.

Hundreds of Football fans across the social media have been voting for their best dance group and time will tell which of the clubs will emerge winners.
