Outstanding individual performances took centre stage in Matchday 10 of the Nigeria Women Football League Premiership as several players delivered decisive contributions for their teams across the country.

Following an exciting round of fixtures, five players have been nominated for the Top Performer of the Round, each playing a key role in securing valuable results for their respective clubs.
Leading the nominees is Opeyemi Ajakaiye of FC Robo Queens, who scored the decisive early goal in her side’s 1–0 victory over Sunshine Queens. Her strike proved enough to seal an important home win and keep Robo Queens firmly in the race for a strong finish in the league standings.

Also earning a nomination is Chioma Moses of Edo Queens. The forward delivered a standout attacking display, scoring two goals in her team’s emphatic 4–1 triumph over Bayelsa Queens in Benin City.

Mary Lucky of Ahudiyannem Queens also impressed, netting the winning goal in a hard-fought 2–1 away victory against Remo Stars Ladies in Ikenne, a result that boosted her side’s position in the league table.
For Ibom Angels, Happiness Agboye produced a match-winning performance, scoring twice to lead her team to a convincing 3–1 victory over Naija Ratels in Uyo.
Completing the shortlist is Fausat Idris of Dannaz Ladies, whose 75th-minute goal secured a narrow 1–0 away win against Osun Babes, highlighting her ability to deliver decisive moments when it matters most.
With strong performances across the board, the competition for the Matchday 10 Top Performer Award remains wide open as fans and observers reflect on another exciting round of NWFL Premiership action.
