NWFL Match Week Eight: Bayelsa Queens, Ibom Angels Trade Tackle

By Francis joseph

Bayelsa Queens and Ibom Angels will trade tackle at the Dan Anyam stadium in match week 8 of the Nigerian Women’s Premier League.

For the table toppers, Bayelsa Queens, even though they will be playing this match at the Dan Anyam stadium in Owerri rather than their own home, the Samson Siasia Stadium as a result of one game home ban, they will be looking to maintain their lead at the top of the table after amassing 18 points from possible 21 having seen them loosed only one match since the start of the season. With the likes of Reuben Charity, Vincent precious getting the goals in their last match away against Abia Angels, Bayelsa Queens Technical Adviser Moses Aduku will be hoping they continue their goal-scoring exploit again.

For Ibom Angels, this is not a good time for them as their management team were suspended after a result of 1 win in their last five games, leaving them 13th position on the 14th man table league with 4points. They will be hoping that with the temporary management in charge they can get their season back on track with a win after having a poor season so far by their standard.

Looking at the form of both sides since the start of the season, you want to say that Bayelsa Queens ( the Gloryland Girls), will be too strong for Ibom Angels and they are expected to take all 3points at the end of the encounter.
