Nigeria Women Football League side FC Robo Queens have emerged as one of the standout teams of the 2025/26 season, and at the heart of their dominance is the electrifying form of forward Kemi Adegbuyi.

The Lagos-based club secured an early qualification for the Super Six playoffs with as many as five matches to spare, thanks largely to Asegbuyi’s consistent goal-scoring exploits.
By early April 2026, Robo Queens had amassed 28 points from 13 matches, comfortably topping Group B and underlining their title credentials.
Adegbuyi has been instrumental throughout the campaign, delivering crucial goals in key fixtures.
She announced her intent early in the season, finding the net in a commanding 5-1 victory over Benue Queens before netting a brace against Confluence Queens.
Her ability to rise to big occasions was further highlighted with decisive contributions against Abia Angels and Rivers Angels, including a match-winning early strike in the latter encounter.
Her performances have not only delivered results but also set the tone for Robo Queens’ attacking identity.
By Matchday 5, Adegbuyi had already positioned herself among the league’s top scorers, maintaining that momentum deep into the season.
Beyond her individual brilliance, Robo Queens’ success has been built on a formidable attacking unit.
Adegbuyi, alongside Opeyemi Ajakaye and Mariam Yahaya, has formed a deadly trio responsible for the bulk of the team’s goals.
