My girls are very happy being the first time in the Premier league, and they got a result,” Adenike enthusiastically conveyed in an exclusive post-match interview with Sports 247

Dannaz Ladies demonstrated a commendable level of ball possession throughout the game, and Adenike acknowledged this dominance. However, she also recognized that despite having numerous chances, the players failed to convert them into goals.

“We got so many chances that the players could not convert. It is not easy for them to play this kind of game, see these kinds of chances and not convert them. We are not happy about it,” she admitted.

Despite the missed opportunities, Adenike remains confident in the team’s ability, attributing the hesitancy to the players’ first-time nerves in the league.

When questioned about her post-match plans for the team, Adenike maintained confidentiality regarding her interactions with the players.

She emphasized the personal nature of her relationship with the team, stating that discussions and motivations between her and the players are private.

She assured that she has done her part to encourage and support the players, fostering a positive environment for the upcoming games.

As Dannaz Ladies look forward to their next challenge, Adenike remains optimistic that the team will improve in converting chances and build on the positive momentum from their debut in the league.
