NWFL Club Owners congratulate Falode on NWFL Logo launch and unveiling

The NWFL Club Owners’ Chairmen/Team Managers Association has warmly congratulated the NWFL chairperson, Aisha Falode on the successful launch and unveiling of the NWFL brand new logo.

The landmark event took place on Thursday, March 05, 2020 at the highbrow Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The newly elected chairperson of the NWFL Club Owners, Matilda Otuene-Onyiloha who was among the dignitaries that witnessed the landmark event showered encomiums on the NWFL supremo for her several bold initiatives and programmes aimed at turning around the fortunes of the women football for the best and comparable with the best in the world.

“We must heartily congratulate the NWFL chairperson, Aisha Falode on this landmark achievement with the successful launch and unveiling of a brand new NWFL logo.
“This is another plus to the several laudable pluses Falode has recorded upon assuming leadership of the nation’s women football body, NWFL.

“The latest programme has brought the NWFL to the front banner as the newest viable brand to be reckoned with by the stakeholders and various captains of industry as well as the corporate world.
“We pray for strength and wisdom in her concerted push to completely rebrand and revitalise the whole sectors of the women football in Nigeria,” said Otuene-Onyiloha who doubles as the supremo of the NWFL Premiership side, Rivers Angels.

The NWFL logo launch and unveiling came with it the rebranding and rechristening of the various women leagues.
The elite league hitherto known as the Nigeria Women Premier League (NWPL) will henceforth be known as NWFL Premiership, the second tier league – Pro-league will assume the new name – NWFL Championship while the third tier league – Amateur will take up a brand new name – NWFL Nationwide.
