NWFL: Bayelsa Queens Camp Bubbles With Covid-19 Palliative

The Camp of Nigeria Women Football League leader Bayelsa Queens came alive over the weekend when the Management of the team surprised the Gloryland Girls with various items ranging from outboard games equipment like table tennis Board, Scrabble, Chess, Monopoly, Snooka Board, and Ludo.

The team also received food items such as Bags of Rice, Beans, Garri, and tubers of Yams. The Common Rooms were furnished with new Forty-two-inch television sets and Brand New matrasses to enhance and encourage the team.

The interim Chairman of the Club Mr. Robin Aprela who led other Management teams to present the items said that the Covid-19 Palliative money that was received from FIFA through the NFF enabled them to acquire the items for the club to boost their morale and encourage them to keep up the brilliant performance thus far.

Technical Adviser of the Club Moses Aduku thanked the Management for this show of love and stated that this has uplifted the team spirit and promised to check the use of the items so as not to let it be a distraction to the girls.

Responding on behalf of the players’ assistant captain Abidemi Ibe was full of thanks to the Management for putting the Covid-19 Pallatives from FIFA to good use and vowed to put in their best to win the league this season.
