NWFL 2022/23 : Loosing Is Not An Option. Not At This Point – Anderlene Mgbeche

Ahead of the last Match for the 2022/2023 Nigerian Women Football league, Premiership, Delta Queens Goal Keeper, Anderlene Mgbeche says the Delta based side will come all out as they host rivals Rivers Angles at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba, on Wednesday April 19th.

The goal puncher who has conceded just four goals in all games for the season, said though Delta Queens have qualified for the super six, they still have their pride at stake as they intend to set an all time record of being invincible for the season.

“There is always the rivalry each time we take on Rivers Angels, as we file out on this last game, we shall have that in mind, while also considering the fact we want to set the records and remain Unbeaten for the season”

“We also want to win for our Management, Most especially our Able Sports Commissioner Chief Tonobok Okowa who has been a super supporting figure for the entire team”

Delta Queens goes into the home game against Rivers Angels as group A table topers and already qualified for Super six before the end of the season.

The reversed fixture had ended in a goalless draw in Port Harcourt, after Delta Queens Goals were wrongly cancelled.
