NWFL 2022/23 : Bayelsa Queens, Delta Queens Face Off As Rivers Angels Eyes Royal Queens scalp

The Nigerian Women football League resumes on Wednesday, January 18th with match day seven ties as Bayelsa Queens take off group A leaders Delta Queens in Yenagoa.

Bayelsa, placed second on the log, have their eyes on the win as they look to pile pressure on Delta, with two points separating both sides.

The game could give us early indicators in this pool, and fans will be waiting with baited breathe to see what unfolds after the full time whistle.

Boosting with confidence after last time success, Heartland Queens will aim to make it two wins in a roll when they face Osun Babes at the Dan Anyiam Stadium.

The Owerri landladies will meet with Osun Babes, their first meeting ever in the league, and it promises to be one up for the win between the both sides.

Elsewhere, Royal Queens and Rivers Angels trade tackle in Delta state, with bookies favoring the Port Harcourt side to carry the day with a huge win.

Both sides failed to get a win during match day six as Royal Queens fell 1-0 Heartland Queens, Rivers Angels held Delta Queens to a barren draw in a controversial fashion.

Moving on to group B where Nasarawa Amazons will hope to avoid back-to-back defeat when they welcome Abia Angels who were winners over Edo Queens.

Former champions Nasarawa have not been too exciting this campaign, having garner seven points from two consecutive wins, two defeats and one draw game.

Also, Robo Queens in a similar situation with Nasarawa, will go toe-to-toe with Adamawa Queens at the Legacy Pitch in Lagos state with hope of getting a favorable result.

Lastly in this group, Ibom Angels and Confluence Queens square off at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium with the former playing with fresh legs having been drawn bye last week.

However, Confluence Queens will seek to make it two wins in two against Ibom after they gunned down Robo Queens in their previous assignment, despite playing away from home.
