NPFL: We will fight for three points in Minna, says Edoka

Ahead of their Match Day 4 Nigeria Professional Football League encounter against Niger Tornadoes of Minna, Remo Stars defender Oweicho Edoka says his team will fight for maximum points at the Bako Kontagora Stadium in Minna on Wednesday.

Edoka made this assertion in a telephone interview with ITV sports.

The bulky defender further stressed that despite the fracas that marred their game against Insurance of Benin last weekend, the team is in high spirits and have put aside the incident to focus on a good outing in Minna and in subsequent matches while reiterating that no stone will be left unturned in their quest to pick a Continental slot in the NPFL this season.

“We have put aside the whole drama that happened against Insurance. Our resolve now is to ensure we do well in our remaining games starting with the game against Tornadoes in Minna,” he posited.

The former Supreme Court FC player believes if the team under the experienced Coach Kennedy Boboye put its act together, the sky will be the limit in the league as they have the required quality.
