Kun Khalifat FC have been active in the transfer market as preparations intensify for the second stanza of the season, completing a series of signings aimed at bolstering depth and quality across key areas of the squad.
Leading the list of new arrivals is Abdulrafiu Omolabi Owolabi, who has officially put pen to paper on a two-year contract with the club. The striker joins from Crown FC, bringing attacking firepower and experience to Kun Khalifat FC’s frontline as the team looks to improve its goal output in the second half of the campaign.

Also reinforcing the attack is Ekebuike James, a centre forward who arrives from Stormers FC of Abeokuta. James has likewise signed a two-year deal and is expected to add physical presence, movement, and competition in the forward department.
In midfield, Kun Khalifat FC have secured the services of James Ebuka, a dynamic defensive midfielder who joins from Rock United FC on a two-year contract. Known for his energy, ball-winning ability, and tactical discipline, Ebuka is expected to play a key role in shielding the defence and providing balance in midfield.
The club have also completed a long-term deal for Salami Damilola, a left winger formerly with Warri Wolves. Damilola has signed a contract that will keep him at Kun Khalifat FC until the summer of 2029, underlining the club’s confidence in his potential and long-term value. His pace and attacking flair are set to add width and creativity to the team.
Completing the latest round of signings is Benson Kingsley Benkin, who joins from Ward 20 National. The winger has signed a two-year contract and is expected to provide additional options and versatility in wide areas.
With these signings concluded, attention now turns to competitive action. Kun Khalifat FC will travel to face Katsina United on 15 January 2026, as the second stanza of the season gets underway.
