Abia Warriors of Umuahia claims a 2-0 comfortable victory against Barau FC on Matchday-10 in the Nigeria Premier Football League at Umuahia Township stadium.
Abia Warriors, managed by Imama Amapakabo welcomed the newly promoted side Barau FC fresh off 2-0 defeat from Shooting Stars in Ibadan.

Emeka Obioma opened the scoring in the 15th minute, seperate the sides in the first half to push Abia Warriors ahead against the Maliya Boys as the captain- Sunday Megwo makes it two for the Warriors in the 61st minute with a taps in from Jibrin Faiz’s cross.
The visitors launched several attacks to peg back the host, who had goalkeeper Odah Okiemute to thank for pulling off several saves.
The win also marked a push away from the defeat in Ibadan for the Warriors and they sat comfortably on the second position on the league table.
