NPFL Players Set For Invitations Against South Africa

A handful of players from the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) may end up getting invitation to the Super Eagles’ camp for next month’s Africa Cup of Nations battle with Bafana Bafana, sports247.ng can report.

 

Although Eagles;’ coach, Gernot Rohr has been adverse to inviting players from the domestic league for Nigerian senior national team matches, feelers at the weekend indicted that the Franco-German gaffer might have a rethink this time out.

Consequently, credible sources have disclosed that some top players from the NPFL have been lined up for invitations to the national team’s camp ahead of the decisive AFCON 2019 penultimate qualifier at FNB Stadium, Johannesburg on November 17.
