Barau Football Club has unveiled former Super Eagles player and Lobi Stars Administrator, Dominic Iorfa, as the new General Manager, and Alhaji Kabiru Baita as Vice President.
The unveiling ceremony was held on Monday in Kano under the leadership of the Club President, Shawwal Barau Jibrin.

In a statement signed by the club’s Media Director, Ahmad Hamisu Gwale, on Wednesday, Barau FC confirmed that Iorfa would oversee the team’s management, while Alhaji Kabiru Baita has been appointed Vice President and both have assumed duty immediately after the unveiling.
While welcoming the appointees, the Chairman of Barau FC, Ibrahim Shitu Chanji, urged them to shun immorality, disunity, and selfishness.
President Shawwal Barau Jibrin assured players, coaches, and officials of improved welfare and motivation.
Iorfa’s appointment is likely to generate debate as the former Nigeria international has faced scrutiny over his stewardship at Lobi Stars.
The newly appointees, Vice President Kabiru Baita and General Manager Dominic Iorfa commended Barau FC for the opportunity and pledged to work towards securing a stronger position for the club in the NPFL.
